Hi, I’m Masato Tsuchiya, the Founder and CEO of school surf. I was born and raised in Tochigi, Japan, and like many of you, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to study abroad. My time in Ireland was one of the most enriching experiences of my life. It opened my eyes to the challenges and rewards of studying in a foreign country and gave me a deep appreciation for the role a good school plays in shaping that experience.
During my time abroad, I realized how important it is to have the right resources to make informed decisions about where to study. This realization, combined with my love for Japan and its culture, inspired me to create school surf – a platform designed to make finding the perfect Japanese language school as seamless and stress-free as possible.
I’ve always been passionate about creating things that connect people and make their lives easier. While I was still in university, I started my first web media platform, and after graduation, I decided to dedicate myself to it full-time. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to build a career creating various web services that prioritize user needs and accessibility. school surf is the culmination of my professional journey and personal passion – a tool to help people like you achieve your dreams of studying in Japan.
